The Fantastical and Magical world of Richard Colman

I love this California artist, Richard Colman. Part illustration and part painting (and even some 3D), his work weaves an intricate story of whimsical shapes, spaces, and beings. All of course mixed together with a good bit of color and a lot of geometry. Upbeat and vibrant but with an extremely dark side, his characters and style create a cool and unique aesthetic. Super contemporary. Very inspiring.
